So two exciting things happened today!  First thing is you can go to my Stampin’ UP! website and order anytime you want!  It will ship to any address you choose, you can take advantage of any promotions that might be going on, as well as if your order is at least $150 you can get free Stampin’ Up! product!  In celebration of Online Ordering I want to offer a special deal!  For the first 5 people that place an order through my website with merchandise totalling $50 or more I will send you a free inkpad of your choice.  **Sorry I can’t take international orders**

The next exciting thing that happened is my dear sweet husband made my blog even more fabulous=)  You can subscribe to my blog and everytime I update it you will get an email!

Of course I can’t post something on my blog without showing some of my most recent projects.  This first card I made for the ladies that came and helped me make cards for our C.A.R.E ministry at church.  We had a lot of fun and made 176 cards that day!  The next card is an idea I saw on Gretchen Barron’s blog and just loved so I had to make one of my own!  Well that is all for now! Have a great week!

Back to School!

Posted under family by admin on Wednesday 3 September 2008 at 1:29 am

Kaylee started back to preschool last Monday.  Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures of her on her first day so we snapped some this morning.  I can’t believe my baby girl is 4.5 already!  A year from now she will be headed to kindergarten!  She is loving school and doesn’t want to come home when I go to pick her up.  I guess that’s a good sign!  Hope you enjoy these pictures!

Splitcoaststampers Challenge!

Posted under Stamping, cards by admin on Wednesday 3 September 2008 at 12:40 am

So on SCS they have challenges all the time for creating cards, 3-D items, scrapbook pages, etc.  I’ve never participated in one until this past weekend. For SU! demos there are special forums and within those forums there are demo only challenges.  Well they have a new category and have named it WICKED! Standing for Wonderfully Inspiring Challenges Keep Educating Demos! So I decided to play along and these are the cards I came up with-  First one is for August and second one is for the September challenge.  Hope you enjoy!

Posted under Uncategorized by admin on Tuesday 26 August 2008 at 10:11 pm

A few weeks ago I made a wedding gift for some friends of ours that got married in April of this year.  We were finally able to see them this past weekend so I was able to deliver their gift.  They were thrilled with it and now that they have it I can post pictures of it.  So here ya go! The first picture is without the frame.  Thought maybe you could see it a little better without the frame.  Second picture is with the frame.  Let me know what you think!

Yesterday was my sister’s 25th Birthday and Saturday we had a party to celebrate.  I made a scrapbook page to put pictures of she and I on it and framed it.  Also made a card to match. I used the new In Colors - Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, and Kiwi Kiss.  Also used some of the Bella Rose paper, On Board Loads of Letters, scallop border punch and chunky glitter. Happy Birthday Michelle! I love you and am so glad you are my sister=)

Charity Auction basket

Posted under Uncategorized by admin on Tuesday 19 August 2008 at 12:57 pm

Well I’m a member of www.triadmommies.com which is a free website for moms in the Triad area of NC.  Recently they had an online auction and asked for businesses to donate items and the proceeds would go to Triad Mommies and to www.projectlinus.org .  So I made up a basket of various stamped items.  I used SU!’s new In Colors and Bella Rose papers.  Hope you enjoy the pictures!

There ya have it!  Hope I didn’t overload you with pictures=)  Have a great day.

Back from Convention!

Posted under Stamping by admin on Monday 4 August 2008 at 6:08 am

Wow what a week! I just got back from my first Stampin’ Up Convention in Salt Lake City! I had a blast and absolutely can’t wait for next year! There were nearly 6000 Stampin’ Up Demonstrators there. It was so amazing to be in a place with so many people that love everything there is to love about Stampin’ Up! When I walked into the first General Session it was absolutely overwhelming to the point tears of joy were running down my face. I totally didn’t expect that! So while we were there lots of great news was shared with us- Of course we have the brand new Fall Winter Idea Book & Catalog (Man is it GORGEOUS!) with tons of beautiful new stamp sets, papers, and my FAVORITE- accessories! Then on Thursday Shelli announced that SU! has partnered with Sizzix to bring us an exclusive die cutting machine- the Big Shot as well as exclusive dies that match many of our stamp sets, chipboard, etc. I ordered mine while we were in SLC so it is on it’s way! I can’t wait to play with it! Stampin’ Up also gave every demonstrator at convention 3 brand new stamp sets, as well as a gorgeous messenger style bag with all our other convention goodies. All week when we were in general session they gave away hundreds of door prizes and suprise suprise I won one! It’s a gorgeous new Simply Scrappin’ Kit and a calendar alphabet and numbers stamp set. I’ll post some projects with it soon! Then on the very last day of convention UPS suprised everyone with a free stamp set! The entire convention center went absolutely crazy when the announcement was made. Yellow confetti was EVERYWHERE, fireworks went off on either end of the stage and then a UPS truck came driving into the convention center. It was so cool=) What made it even more special was the stamp set that was given to us was the Ronald McDonald set. So part of the proceeds went to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. I took lots of pictures of convention activities so I will post some real soon!

Latest projects

So two weeks from today I will be in Salt Lake City, Utah for Stampin’ Up!’s Convention! I’m so excited and have been counting the days until we leave.  Right now I’m planning on taking 100 card fronts to swap with other SU! demos. I’m about halfway on them so I’m starting to see an end in sight.  I’ll show my two designs after convention, but right now I have a couple other cards that I’ve done recently.  This first one is an invitation that I sent out to my mom’s side of the family for a little family reunion that we are having this Saturday. I used the Neighborhood jumbo wheel, pumpkin pie, tempting tuquoise, and kraft cardstock. Then to color in the houses I used SU!’s watercolor pencils and blender pens.  We made about a dozen of them and I thought they turned out pretty cute.

Then today I got my preorder stuff from the new catalog that will be unveiled at convention!  Man do we have some gorgeous new in colors and great new stamps!  When I saw our new Sock Monkey set I fell in love!  I’ve been working on my swaps today but had to make something with this set tonight and here is what I came up with.  For the cardbase I used Pacific Point (new in color!), then SU!’s Bella Rose Designer Paper and the scallop border punch, and Pink Pirouette, and Baja Breeze, the flower and the sentiment are stamped in Riding Hood Red. All the colors on the card are the new In Colors.  Leave me a comment and tell me what you think!

Summer Days OnBoard Clipboard

Posted under 3-d stamping, scrapbooking by admin on Monday 30 June 2008 at 1:35 am

I did my first altered clipboard today for my friend Lori’s birthday.  She has 3 children so I personalized it for her with each of her kid’s names.  Then she can put a picture of each of her children on the board.  I used the Summer Days Simply Scrappin’ kit for it and I’m quite proud of how it turned out.
